A couple from Maine decided to venture to New York City to see a show at Carnegie Hall. Never having been to the big city before, they soon became quite lost. After much "prompting" from his wife the husband agrees to ask for directions, but is ignored by the new Yorkers, who simply walk on as if he wasn't even there. Finally they spot a distinguished looking gentleman walking with a violin case. 'He must know' they thought!' "Excuse me, sir, do you know how to get to Carnegie Hall?" they asked. The gentleman stopped, thought a moment, and said, "Practice, practice, practice!"
Now included with the tunes and references will be instruments represented at each session. Typically there will be a lot of fiddles, some guitars, and woodwinds. Mandolin, bass, bodhran, and other percussion instruments will join in sometimes... you never really know! All are welcome!
